Our school provides opportunities for students, staff and parents to know and celebrate their Catholic faith. This is done through the religious life of our school. Members of our community experience a rich liturgical and prayer life, celebration of the Sacraments, faith formation, social outreach activities, and opportunities to share faith with each other and with youth from other schools in the Archdiocese.
Our students regularly engage in whole school and grade Masses, celebrating key liturgical events with the Church community. We provide faith formation opportunities in the classroom and broadly within the community. The whole school prays the School Prayer together at every morning assembly. Through the support of Parish and school, parents are assisted in fulfilling this vital role as the first educators of their children’s faith. Our school supports those in need through group activities including the St Joseph’s Junior Joeys and the Pope Francis Award.
The Religious Education curriculum assists students in preparation for the Sacraments. The parish based Sacramental program is offered to students in Years 2, 3 and 6, for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
